Created by former TV anchor and broadcaster Erika Brason, Rebel Ride
is locally owned and operated. After a 20-year career reporting the news, Erika, a certified cycling instructor, is now following her passion for fitness and a desire to give back to the community she loves.
Because Rebels are the independent trail blazers who change the world, Erika’s
team created the brand to bring a new generation of indoor cycling to the Buffalo
area. Rebels support others, and “Rebels with a Cause” will partner with local
non-profits and charity organizations for special event rides.
Comfortable, moisture-wicking tops and tight fitting cycling shorts or fitness
pants are recommended to avoid fabric near the pedals. Remember to bring socks,
but we have plenty at the front desk if you forget.
Cycling shoes are required for safety, proper foot alignment, and increased
performance. The stiff sole maximizes the transfer of energy, and hamstrings
are engaged more fully because your foot is attached to the pedal. The stiff
sole also helps reduce foot fatigue and cramping.
You will appreciate the difference of “clipping in” once you try it! Shoe rental is complimentary or you can bring your own. Pedals accept both LOOK and SPD cleats.
Rebels love luxury, so we offer private showers with spa-grade skin and hair
products, fluffy Egyptian cotton towels, and a fully-stocked blow dry bar. Generous
changing rooms and social spaces include keyless lockers with USB outlets so your
techy gadgets can charge while you recharge!
Our Rebel Bar offers fresh cold brew coffee and Kombucha on tap! Come early,
stay late, and linger with your friends while munching on nutritious, healthy snacks.
Let our special events coordinator plan your next party! Bride rides, birthday party
rides, sorority events, corporate team building, and special small group rides are
